Not every dog is the right fit for every boarding environment, and that’s okay. My goal is to create a safe, low-stress experience for every dog in my care.Before your dog’s first stay, we’ll schedule a Meet & Greet so I can learn about your dog, answer your questions, and make sure we’re a good match. I’ll ask about your dog’s personality, routines, medical needs, and any behavioral concerns so there are no surprises.If I don’t believe my home is the right environment for your dog, I’ll tell you honestly and help point you in the right direction.

Meet & Greets are a chance for both you and your dog to get to know me before booking a stay.You’ll visit my home, we’ll talk about your dog’s routines, preferences, and any concerns you have, and I’ll introduce your dog to the boarding environment at their own pace. If other dogs are present, introductions will be handled thoughtfully and only if appropriate.There’s no pressure or obligation to book afterward. The goal is simply to make sure everyone feels comfortable and confident moving forward.

For the health and safety of all dogs in my care, I require dogs to be up to date on their Rabies, Distemper/Parvovirus (DHPP or equivalent), and Bordetella (Kennel Cough) vaccinations, based on your veterinarian’s recommendations. While not required, Canine Influenza and Leptospirosis vaccinations are strongly encouraged.Dogs should also arrive healthy and free of contagious illness, fleas, ticks, and other parasites.If your dog has a medical condition or cannot receive certain vaccines for veterinary reasons, please let me know before your Meet & Greet. I’m happy to discuss your dog’s individual needs and whether boarding in my home is the right fit.

It depends.Puppies that are not yet old enough to be spayed or neutered are generally welcome if they’re otherwise a good fit.For juvenile and adult dogs, acceptance depends on the individual dog, the other dogs staying with me, and whether I can safely manage the group. My first priority is maintaining a calm, comfortable environment for everyone.If you’re unsure, just ask during your Intro Call or Meet & Greet.

As soon as you know your travel dates.Weekend stays, holidays, and school breaks tend to fill first, while weekdays are often easier to accommodate. First-time boarding clients should also allow enough time to schedule a Meet & Greet before their stay.If you have a last-minute trip, don’t hesitate to reach out. If I have space available and we’ve already completed a Meet & Greet, I’ll do my best to help.
